GENERAL TERMS
Client Safety and Booking Requirements
For the client’s health and safety, we only accept bookings directly from the person receiving the treatment. This allows us to gather accurate health information and ensure a therapeutic massage tailored to their needs.
Transferring your booked session to another person is not permitted.
Therapeutic Focus
Marix Therapy provides therapeutic massages designed to relieve deep muscle tension, address soft tissue injuries, and reduce stress-related conditions. Prior to your first session, we require a full understanding of your medical history and body conditions to ensure the treatment is suitable for you.
Children and Minimum Age
Due to our insurance policy, children and babies are not permitted on the premises. The minimum age requirement for treatments at Marix Therapy is 18 years.
CONFIDENTIALITY
We take your privacy seriously. All client information is strictly confidential and handled in accordance with data protection laws.
DURING YOUR TREATMENT
You will remain properly covered with a towel or blanket to ensure warmth and comfort throughout your session. Only full-sized bath towels are used.
Please ensure you communicate any discomfort or concerns during your treatment.
RIGHT TO REFUSE OR TERMINATE SERVICE
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a session if any of the following apply:
- Medical conditions that make massage unsafe (e.g., cold, flu, or contraindicated health conditions).
- Being under the influence of alcohol, painkillers, or drugs.
- Poor hygiene.
- Inappropriate behavior, comments, or actions of a sexual nature.
- Rude or disrespectful conduct.
In cases where services are terminated, you may still be responsible for full payment of the session.
BOOKINGS
All appointments must be booked and managed through our 24/7 online booking system. A confirmation email will include a link to cancel or reschedule if needed.
Our booking system also sends automated reminders/ confirmations; however, it is ultimately the client’s responsibility to remember their appointment/ payment. In the unlikely event of a system issue, reminders/ confirmations may not be sent.
Bookings are subject to availability, so we recommend booking early to secure your preferred time.

REPEATED BOOKING /CANCELLING
The booking system automatically blocks users who frequently book and cancel appointments as this is blocking therapist’s schedule and causes other clients and therapist to loose appointments.
PAYMENTS
Payment is required in advance via bank transfer, at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Last-minute bookings (less than 24 hours before the session) require immediate payment to confirm the session.
Failure to make payment within the specified timeframe will result in the booking being cancelled.
CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING
Cancellation or rescheduling must be done online via the link in your confirmation email at least 24 hours before your appointment.
Last-minute bookings (less than 24 hours) cannot be cancelled or rescheduled and are subject to the full cost of the treatment.
If you fail to attend your appointment or cancel late, the full session fee will be charged.
LATE ARRIVALS
If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be considered cancelled, and the full session fee will apply.
For shorter delays, the session length will be reduced to accommodate following appointments, but full payment is still required.
TREATMENT CANCELLATION BY MARIX THERAPY
In the rare event that we need to cancel your session on short notice (less than 24 hours), we will inform you as soon as possible and provide a discount for your rebooked treatment as compensation.
DAMAGE AND ACCIDENTS
Any damage to the studio or facilities, or accidents or injuries, must be reported immediately before leaving the premises. Failure to do so will invalidate any claims. Marix Therapy cannot accept liability for accidents or injuries caused by a client’s own actions.
